Good day all!
I've got 5 adam instanses in 4 sites. Each instanse are on dedicated server.
One of sites consists of 2 instances.
I configured sitelinks in full mesh topology.
But there is one problem:
In site with 2 servers only on of them are aviable from other server in
other sites. The last one server are aviable only from another server in the
same site. (cose of firewall policy)
As I read about KCC and ISTG all servers in ADAM are also bridgehead server
and ADAM uses multiple bridgehead load balansing in intrasite replication.
But i want to select only one server as bridgehead in site with 2 adam
servers.
Is it possible and how can i do it?
ps: sorry for my English, not much practice.

Hi
I think it should be possible. So if you have

Site A
server1

Site B
server2
server3

Then you should be able to make say, server2 a "preferred Bridgehead".

[server1]--ABsitelink--[server2]--[server3]

where -- are your connections.

Unfortunately in using ADAM SP1 site management is painful but in a site
adding the distinguishedName of interSite transports to the
bridgeheadTransportList
attribute of a server in the site servers container will designate that
server
a preferred bridgehead for those transports.

The way to test this is to install a configuration set with 3 instances in
the
default site, then create your test sites A and B and the sitelink and then
set the preferred bridgehead and then move the servers to the sites - worked
for me in a test.

If you need more help post back.
