Hi,

I have created an ADAM Instance over AD. I am puzzled about the data flow
between AD and ADAM. I have created user proxies in ADAM for AD Users.

if any changes made in AD, how will it reflect in ADAM.
Should i schedule synchronization at certain time intervals from AD to ADAM.
if any changes made in ADAM, how will it reflect in AD.

Hi
there is no data flow between AD and ADAM unless you
create such using a synchronization tool. So if you
are using ADAMsync then you will need to schedule
sync runs to keep the ADAM instance in sync with
AD, with ADAMsync the sync is one way so any
changes in the ADAM data are not imported into
the AD.

Thanks Lee. Joe in directoryprogramming.net also suggested the same. But he
said he is not sure about ADAMSync. So i thought of confirming with you.

Thanks for your time.
