Can you publish the package with .msp file through group policy (windows
2003 envir.)?

Hello Ed,

Group policies for software installation require .msi and for transform .mst
files. So what do you like to update, a OS patch? Please give some more details.

You use the MSP to patch the installation source (distribution point)
and then re-deploy the package.

I used msiexec /a \\server\share\a.msi /p \\server\share\b.msp
I got command error. Can you help me what's wrong with above command?
