Active Directory does not track logoffs. One option is turn on auditing of
logon and logoff events, but searching event logs for these events is a
pain. A better option is VBScript logon and logoff scripts configured in
Group Policy that append information to a shared log file. I have examples
at this link:

There is a also an example program to parse the log file for information on
user sessions.

Hi,

I do have MOM 2005, so I guess I could use this to monitor the events?

What would be the event ID for logoffs?

Thanks
