Hello,

We configure a GPO with the parameter "logon as a service" and we gave 2
users this right.

The GPO is applied to computers. Each time computers restart, the GPO
overrides the local settings and replace the existing users that have this
right : we don't want this.

Is it possible to play the setting "logon as a service" as a merge option
instead of
replace option ?

thanx for help,

Jose

Hello josé,

That is expected behaviour GPOs override local configured policies. So either
change the GPO or move the computer to an OU where the GPO isn't linked to.
