http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944043 talks about the compatibility pack for Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003. Since this patch is applicable only to clients running XP SP2 or higher and W2k3 SP1 or higher, would like to know if the issues listed in this article are still unresolved for the below clients:

1.Windows 2000 Professional 2.Windows 2000 Server 3.Windows XP SP1 4.Windows Vista?

Can Cisco WAFS solution be integrated with RODC in branch office scenarios?

Are RODC's supported by MS in DMZ and Internet kind of use scenarios?

Hello Dave,

1. Vista is higher then XP SP3 and the others are not effected, keep in mind
windows 2000 is out of support and XP SP1 also.

2. Don't know about CISCO WAFS, but RODC has effects for AD and DNS with
read-only. The rest works as normal server OS. Contact CISCO for know problems.

So, its safe to say that Windows 2000 professional, Windows 2000 Sever and Windows XP SP1 do not work with RODC and there will be no compatibility pack available for these OS as they are going to be out of support very soon.
