What is RSO? What all operations are replicated using this function? Like
password changes, DNS Dynamic Reecord registrations? Is there a link which
lists all such functions which are replicated using RSO?

The link I posted regarding your password change question, explains a bit on
RSO.

Here are more links on RODCs. I hope they help.

Hello Carl,
It is the repadmin /replsingleobj command, and you can use it to replicate
any single object. TechNet has a syntax explanation and an example:

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc742123(WS.10).aspx

An RODC does use this operation by default to replicate a password or
dynamic DNS update from an RWDC, but I'm not sure what other operations use
it by default.

I hope that helps,
