Reading through Jorge de Almeida Pinto's post
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverDS /thread/f8d1017e-1f0e-4a9d-a241-b03b508dfe17,
where it says "When the password is changed or reset against an RODC, the
RODC will forward the change to a W2K8 RWDC", Actually Rest Password option
is not available when ADUC is poiting to RODC, what is being referenced
here??

Also regarding the below state:
"When the password is changed or reset against an RWDC, the password never
automatically replicates to the RODC. However, part of the metadata is
replicated to the RODC and with that the RODC knows the stored password has
become invaled and it will remove it from its database. The user will not be
able to use the old password"

What is the meta data that is being referenced here??

Metadata is AD data in the database. I believe in his reference, it's
specifically speaking of the password data.

Maybe the following link will clear things up.

That you are not able to change a passowrd in the site where the RODC is
located when no RWDC is reachable.

The AD database information is also named metadata.
