Jane,
from the Run box, type GPEdit.msc... For security related settings, use
Security Configuration and Analysis snap-in...
Keep in mind that local policy has the lowest precedence...

Hello Jane,

You can use only the Local security policy with start, programs, administrative
tools, Local security policy. Keep in mind this maybe will overwritten from
the configured domain policies.

Yes you can. The RODC behaves in this situation just like any other station.

Cheers,

Assuming i have a server role installed on an RODC, can i set local policies
specific to that server just as i would do for a member server?? Basically
in case of a member server, we can move all similar server types into an OU
and have a GPO linked with standard settings e.g. IIS Server, Terminal
Server, File and Print etc, when such sevices ate co-hosted on RODC where
shuld hese policies be applied?

Hello Jane,

Leave the RODC as the RWDC always in the DCs OU, do NOT move them to another
one. Also a RODC should be handled like RWDCs and do only there basic job
and not additional server roles, for additional roles like IIS, TS use dedicated
member servers. File and print is the only one i would use on a dedicated
harddisk in the RODC.

Best regards
