Dear,

My server is not saving the logs as it gives the msg " Unable to complete
the operation on "DS Events" The file size exceeds the limit allowed and
cannot be saved.

But i have increased the size of file allocation but still its giving same
msg.

Thanks for hint and help.

Try clearing the log
From Event Viewer select the DNS Service, right click and (Save log file if
needed first) select Clear all events

Hello Saqib,

You must set it to multiples of 1024. So if you want a 20 meg event log
limit, you would enter 20480. If you want a 10 meg limit, you would enter
10240. if you want 100 meg limit, you would enter 102400.

You may also want to allow it to overwrite log entries when it becomes full.
But that of course depends on your company's policies regarding saving event
log entries.
