Hi

I'm currently having problems enabling Shadow copies on a volume on one of
our server. It is currently running Windows 2003 std. with SP2.
I've gone into the VSS settings and put a limit of 300 mb for the shadow
copies. The volume has 4TB free space, out of nearly 12TB.
When I try to enable it, I get an error message "Error 0x8007000e:Not enough
storage is available to complete this operation"

Any ideas?

/L

Hello Mr L,

Do you use 32bit or 64bit version? VSS has a limit of 5TB for 32 bit Operating
System, which means if you want to make a snapshot of a volume larger than
5TB, you will get an error saying that not enough storage is available to
complete this operation.

Best regards

Hi

I use 32-bit, so that answers the questions.
