How is the printer connected? USB I assume. In the BIOS of the 2003 server
is USB enabled and configured in the same mode as the laptop. I've seen
this in the past with devices other than printers and I had to change the
USB mode in the BIOS to allow legacy support.

May not help but worth a try.

Regards,
Jon
