Hello to all,

I don't know if this is a Server 2008 problem or typical a TS problem, so
sorry if wrong group.

On a Windows 2008 TS server:

I have set the compatibility property of a program via 'settings for all
users' to RunAsAdmin, so far all was ok. When I connected to the TS with
another user the program runned as Admin. Now after an update to fix some
compatibility with TS I wanted to switch off the RunAsAdmin so I went the
same way, via Properties - Compatibility - Settings for all users - I
unselected the 'run as administrator' flag and indeed for the current user
the setting was disabled but for all other users this setting stayed
enabled. As the other users did not have admin rights I had to change for
Each user the HKEY_USERS\S_UID\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers and remove the RunAsAdmin key
manually.

Is this a bug or normal behavior? And if it is normal is there a simpler way
than changing all my users settings?

Greets

Hi,

This looks like a general Windows 2008 query, rather than a TS query.
Please try posting in general windows newsgroup.
