Hello,

I never tried/used this before so I thought I'll ask if this works ----

I'm getting a new 2003 server, it will replace my current 2000 server, this
is an FTP server in a workgroup. Currently we did not need to remote desktop
to that server, but now we will.

Currently we only remote desktop from 2000 and XP desktops to servers in the
domain.

Has anyone ever connected to a server in a workgroup from a desktop in a LAN ?

Thanks,
Bob

It does not matter what machine you use to launch a remote desktop session -
even a Win98 machine can do it, regardless of its domain/workgroup status.

I use remote desktop to connect to a W2k3 server frequently. My desktop is
in a domain, the server is not. It should not matter.
