Hi,

you dont see this request everyday do you ? I have a test server, I am
trying to experiment using HP's ILO "On Baord Administrator" and I cant sit
around and wait for one of my production servers to freeze up.... mostly
because it never happens except on one of my production servers that runs
SQL.... we have lost our minds trying to see a pattern or any audit trail
that would help diagnose this sparadic problem..... so now I am looking into
ILO because it lets you get back onto the server via a built in manangment
processor while it is hosed up via normal windows access..then I amy be able
to "look around" a bit

so the question still is ....anyone know how to hose a server up in order
to do this kind of testing ????

Hello Dan,

If i am not wrong, just shutdown the server and try to boot it from ILO.
If ILO is configured correct it should work. Check the HP documentation for
that. Basically this will be a HP support question and not MS.
