Hello,

when I try to add a RODC I get the following error message even after
prompting and giving the right password for the Administrator account

The operation failed because:

Managing the network session with server1.home........ failed

"Logon failure:unknown user name or bad password" but I am sure that
password is correct

Any clues

Hello aconti,

Is a RWDC available in the subnet where you try it or only over WAN? Can
you ping the RWDC by ip address, computername and FQDN?

Best regards
