Hi!

I authenticate users from Active Directory using System.Directory.Protocols
(C#). I can authenticate multiple users with the same connection without
problems.

The only problem I have is strange. If I reset a user's password and I try
to authenticate this user using the previous password, instead of getting a
message telling me that my credentials are invalid, I get the "The LDAP
server is unavailable." message. After that, I get the same error message for
each user I try to authenticate. The only solution to get passed that problem
is to open a new connection.

Since it's working fine for any other cases, I think I may have a
configuration problem with Active Directory. I'm not a sysadmin so I don't
know AD very well. I just set one up on a Virtual Machine to do my tests.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Thanks!
